We are all working toward a better future. That better future starts with our kids. Safety demonstrations and scholarships are two major ways Moreau-Grand Electric enriches our kids' futures.

Safety

Neon Leon

Moreau-Grand Electric is dedicated to enriching our children's lives with engaging electrical safety demonstrations. The lessons they learn from Neon Leon carry throughout their lives, helping keep them safe for their own bright future. Periodically, JJ takes the Neon Leon Demonstration around to different schools in the service area, pairing science and safety into fun lessons for our kids.

Scholarships

Jessa Pederson

Moreau-Grand also provides scholarships for our future leaders. The Board of Directors donates $2500 of their own money to one area senior (whose parents/guardians have a meter with MGE) pursuing a secondary degree. Moreau-Grand, along with Basin Electric Power Cooperative, provides a $1000 scholarship to an area seniors whose parents have a meter with MGE.

Rebates and Demand Response

Water Heater DRU

Moreau-Grand offers rebates when you buy and install a new electric water heater. Along with that, when you agree to have a Demand Response Unit installed, we credit $50 onto your account for helping the cooperative save money! Call 605-865-3511 and talk to JJ for more details!
